Scholarship Overview
The AUScholarships University Support Grant aims to empower financially needy but academically committed university students in Eastern Africa. This scholarship is designed to provide financial relief and academic encouragement to those pursuing undergraduate degrees in any field of study at recognized universities.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program at a recognized university in Eastern Africa or has applied for new students waiting for admission
- Have completed at least one semester of university education for the ongoing students
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0/5.0 or 2.5/4.0 (or equivalent average) for ongoing students
- Demonstrate financial need and has a history of financial constraints
- Exhibit active involvement in community service, campus leadership, or volunteer work in high school.
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit:
- Completed online application form
- Official or stamped academic transcript from current university for ongoing students
- Personal statement (max 500 words) answering:
“How will this scholarship support your education and goals?” - Letter of recommendation from a university lecturer or department head
- Copy of National ID or Student ID
- A sketch map to your home from your institution of learning
Award Benefits
- Tuition or academic-related expense support of up to $600 equivalent per student per year for a maximum of four years.
